Life’s Garden

THE GARDEN MUST BEAR GOOD FRUIT THAT IS PLEASING TO THE MASTER’S TASTE!

If you want to possess a beautiful garden you must first and foremost be willing to get dirty! (Be willing to dig your hand in the dirt to tilt the soil, remove rocks and pebbles, uproot old dried up rotten roots to make room for new. Adding fertilizer here and there will keep the soil healthy, well nourished and ready for planting. Being careful enough to place seed deep under soil will also assure a deeply rooted plant a stronghold against bad weather. Beware as there are always thorns! Even in thornless plants a branch or twig might occasionally stick out, scratch a surface that could result as your skin or finger, or even fly up unintentionally reaching the eyes or face!  Hence it is necessary to wear appropriate clothing to protect self even in gardening. It’s mandatory to water most plants and feed them occasionally with sunshine to assure a healthy outlook)! Only then will you prove to be determined enough to reach the next level of actually buying supplies useful to build, nurture and uphold a healthy and productive garden that’s pleasing to your Master!

Although I've given myself the pen name Tine Brice, I was born Martine B. Montas in the downtown area of Port-au-Prince, Haïti in February of 1967. I'm a struggling servant of God, prayer warrior, parent, teacher, writer. According to my sons, I'm a role model, an inspiration, a matriarch, an old soul living the legacy. I yearn to be bold enough to publish my first book, to connect with the world on a different level, so as to touch lives through poetry. I seek to comfort hearts that feel alone to lead them to understand that in this world we are all connected! We are one BREATH! MBM-Tine Brice
