When the enemy has been at your hind throughout life and still find it difficult to attain his destructive goal over your life, mind, heart and soul; he tends to turn to the process of elimination. You see throughout your living years without much effort or notice you’ve accumulated relations, acquaintances, fame that you give little attention to. When he’s sought you in every which way possible and failed, he then tries to corner you by destroying the relationships you’ve built or attained through the years. If after gaining these you hadn’t considered clinging closer to God more than the fame, then you’ve actually set yourself up for failure as per his plot (Jeremiah 17:5-8). But if in fact despite it all you’ve made Christ the center of your universe, when evil tries to disconnect everyone from you, you’ll feel right at home with God who is jealous over you anyway. Only then will the pattern be reversed onto the evil one to foil his plan of destruction. You must remember that this walk you trod is for God’s glory and so most of the encounters, hardships, false judgments, deceptions, insults, mockery and the likes are for His glory. It’s not always so about you, it’s about He who lives, breathes, speaks, touches and reaches others through you. Some days you’ll need just a smile or your time sitting silently near someone in need to help whereas other times you have to roll back your sleeves and get down to the nitty-gritty depth of soul-saving by sharing God’s message of hope and salvation to those encountered. But always you must seek His discernment to know how to distribute that which God has entrusted you with sowing.
So, are you feeling rejected, abandoned, alone, left in the cold, empty, lost; God’s word did say “Come unto me all ye that are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28)! Your rest will not only find you when you close your eyes to this world for the last time, but before then, as you live and journey to Him, God can shower you with the double peace promise made through Christ! “Peace I leave you, my peace I give you. Not as the world gives it…(John 14:27).” When you are aware of God’s promises over your life and uphold your end of the bargain to receive your inheritance, you’re actually undoing the devil’s process of elimination over your life and foiling his plan to nought. First and foremost, you must be informed of the power of the anointing you hold within as God’s Child, heirs and joint-heirs with Christ, (Romans 8:17). Stand for your heavenly heritage with intentions of pleasing God all the while until you behold His blessed face! Just a little more time and Jesus will come, He’s closer than further. Let’s just be eternity ready as we serve, may God’s word quicken you!
