She didn’t have to know you to serve you
Every stranger was made at home
Even a passerby was encouraged to come in
“Have some coffee,” she’d say “build up your strength”
Coffee Nana was very strong
Her strength it seems her kids acquired
I doubt it came from drinking coffee but
To her this beverage symbolized inner strength
