There are times when the wound is so deep and the aftereffects so long enduring and prolonged that you don’t quite want to hear phrases like “get over it already” “let bygones be bygones” “do not wake the sleeping cat” “it’s passed and gone so let it go” or even “rise above.” Because everyday you’re battling long lasting pain and sufferings, results from such bitter realities that only you have treaded alone! And so you start to wonder how dare another tell me when it’s time to rise when they don’t even know how deep my pain, suffering, wound is since they were absent during the infliction! This is why it’s always best to tell others to take their time in healing because only they were present at suffering blows and their body will alert them when it’s safe to move on but it’s important to listen to the body’s voice and not stifle it by ignoring emotions. Rather it is best to deal with each emotion as it comes but to deal with each in a progressive/productive manner for the betterment of one’s mind, body, soul health! It is imperative to heal from inside out rather than a quick outward appearance that covers the inner open bleeding wound. It’s really okay to reassure others that their healing may tarry but it will come when we most need it and are ready to receive it. It has always been a fact that the body knows how to heal itself from many wounds, and it does this still. Meanwhile, eating well for the body, nourishing mind positively, and feeding one’s spirit by dealing with emotions accordingly as they come is all we can do as we await the complete healing. More often than not, God seeing our secret struggles lift us from where we are and move us closer to achieving our goals. Honestly, if you can’t help a person in their healing, don’t break their spirit to ease your own guilty conscience. (There’s a Haitian saying roughly translated: when your comrade’s beard catches fire, put yours to soak). That’s to say no one is exempt to life’s hardships so don’t mock or assume to belittle or demise. You’re actually making their road longer as they’ll have to start over in that healing process and you have no idea how often already they had to start over.
So in your road to healing you’re not alone. There are others there but not all has the same level of resistance that you do and some would have surpassed your level so much that you might look to them for inspiration but always remember they’re only human. As you look to them they could falter along their path. Don’t take it to heart so much that you too begin to stray, rather if you could at all be a source of inspiration to them at that point in time, a shoulder to lean on, a support of some sort reminding them of their achievements along the way that would have served them a great purpose to recovery. I’ve always thought that a person’s best therapist is their inner selves, providing the self is alert, ready and willing to engage in such an activity. It’s no walk in the park really but by God the outcome is more than a pat in the back. It’s the most joyous occasion for the overcomer. Still, don’t just be an overcomer but be an inspiration reaching out to others that struggle with their pain giving comfort when it’s needed, showing tough love along the way yet speaking smoothly when appropriate. In all good timing with constant prayer, fasting and watchful eyes fixed on Jesus the complete restoration just creeps in and settles quietly within the soul until some years or decades later you awaken one bright and sunny day only to realize you’ve made it past and over the harshest, hardest, roughest, and most difficult hurdle life dished your way.
If you’re anything like me in that mindset, you would probably want to give a FEAST IN GOD’S HONOR, ACTION OF GRACE TO THE LORD (roughly translated from french phrase “Action de Grace a L’รternel), which to me would consist of red rose petals in the isle as one welcomes the bridegroom singing that specific song that touches the depth of His heart as it is a well deserved gift from one’s heart to ALMIGHTY LORD ABBA FATHER AND SAVIOR YHWH YESHUA. JUST A SMALL TOKEN OF PRAISE TO GOD IN HOPE THAT ALL OF HEAVEN’S ANGELS JOIN THEIR VOICES WITH US IN GLORIFYING HIS HOLY, MAJESTIC, WONDERFUL, MARVELOUS, MAGNIFICENT NAME FROM GLORY TO GLORY!
