The Art Of Forgiveness
The art of forgiveness is a set up within itself. The word of God said to forgive seventy times seven (Matthew 18:22), because He expected us to love so fully that we would lose track of how many times we’ve forgiven and stop counting. Can you love so much that you stop keeping track of how much you’ve forgiven? Of course you can! If you couldn’t God would not demand it of us. If He requested it from us it’s because He’s already instilled within us the basic tools needed to get there. God never puts us through trials without creating for us a way out! (Psalm 55:22) (Isaiah 58:6) He keeps to His word, always! Is there something too difficult for you to do? Turn it over to God in prayer! Pray on it as much as it bothers you, and be as sincere as it hurts until one day its strength dissipates to the point to make you forget it existed. Then on another day you’ll remember it in new light, because you’ll wake up to glorify God for having crossed you that hard patch. Then you’ll move on to pay it forward to another struggling soul! That’s grace! Live a healthy life! Forgive everyone, especially those that hurts you continuously and on purpose, especially those you know don’t deserve it and wouldn’t forgive you if role was reversed! Do it because you’re bigger than and love yourself better than that! Do it for God’s glory! If your life is a canvas, what are you painting on that bare surface to draw the lost to Christ? Humbly raise your forgiveness cup to God and let it overflow for Him! He controls the flow!
