MOMMIE DON’T

MOMMIE DON’T

Listen to the fetus cry

He has no reason to die

Just because you couldn’t wait

Or forgot to keep the date

Fetus babies are human too

Who shouldn’t be tamed as if a shrew

I know it’s easy to destroy them

But it’s not easy to restore them

Just for once forget yourself

Just this time step off the shelf

Exclude all the misjudgment

Save the life that God has sent

When life begin to weary you

Think happy thoughts! God’s love is true

Be proud for you cared to say, “I Won’t”

When the fetus cried out, “Mommie Don’t”

SILENT CRY

There’s a silent cry inside of me

I’m sure you thought this could not be

It’s not a cry that can be heard

It simply questions the absurd

This silent cry is in my heart

It’s waiting for a life to start

I don’t know why I feel this way

But on this earth I cannot stay

This world so cruel and full of hate

Makes anger spark a frenzied state

I know life is the best of gifts

Amidst the cries of its misfits

I never could accept it all

I try to climb I always fall

I love my life to a degree

Because it’s all I have you see

So I’ll accept it with a sigh

Returning to my Silent Cry…
