THOUGH SKIES ARE GREY

THOUGH SKIES ARE GREY

Though skies are grey and hearts dismay

There’s gladness in my heart

You’ve been away, you’ve come to stay

Our love will never part

Cherish my love, look to the dove

For He has made us One

Watch the rain fall, it nourishes all

And blesses us each day

God’s reign is tall, our name He call

To see if we’re astray

We’re yours O Lord with One accord

Show us your burning light

Deep from within, I know I sin

That’s part of being humane

You cannot win or enter in

If you use Him in vain

So play it smart, be kind at heart

His Kingdom shall be yours

Then walk right in there’s life within

All has been forgiven

Thus you now shine, and you’re all mine

The Rain

I’m the best candidate for a Miracle. In His Word, God said that He sends the rain on the just and the unjust. The way I see it if I’m just before God I’m in for that reward. If I’m unjust before God, I’m also at an advantage of receiving His blessings. Although I prefer being on His good side and receive from Him due to just nature, it’s imperative to consider and ponder on the latter. It’s not an examination out of envy but it’s so as to understand a little better why such an occasion would happen for an unjust. God is a just God. There’s a Haitian saying that’s often repeated, God knows how to give (things) but He knows not how to serve (food). These words often comes from people who have felt wronged when an enemy of theirs have received what they deemed themselves worthy to be given. They do not consider how God’s word has reminded us to envy not those that triumph in their wicked ways, (Psalm 37). If God has given to what appear to be an unjust do you know it’s a set up for that person. Later when they say Lord, I couldn’t serve you due to lack, His comeback will be but I rained on you the unjust as well as the just; there’s no excuse. Don’t think there’s an excuse that will stand before God. When you’re ready to say I didn’t know, He’ll say I sent my Messengers. Where you’re ready to say I didn’t understand He’ll say I was but a prayer away, you should’ve asked because I did say come into me all who are weary and heavy laden…(Matthew 11:28). Don’t let the words trap or condemn you, fall into obedience like a little child let God lead you. To know God’s word and not live by His statutes is dangerous to your soul. Because the word is a double edged sword whichever way you wave it, it will slice, dice, cut or chop. It’s best to remove from within or amidst you the weed that stunts your growth, and bloom to prove your worth to He who has already destined your outcome.  Remember He sees you for who you are to become in Him, He knows you already like that. You stand an achieved, accomplished, finished and polished work in His presence. Don’t play the fool! He runs the show but respect your choice, so show Him love and humble yourself! Your blessings depend on it anyway. You’ve been set-up to progress, so succeed! It’s a shower of blessings into God’s eternity, smooth traveling!
