A MEDITATIVE FOCUS

A MEDITATIVE FOCUS
Excerpt from Response To The Calling “The sun was blazing hot glistening on the surface of the asphalt road ahead but once I reached that shining spot I found it to be just as normal as the path already traveled.”
That point in time when things are revealed for what they are at the appointed time but not before. Don’t jump to conclusions, don’t assume, be still and wait on God’s approval and revelation for guidance because God’s report solidifies everything. That time when everything comes to light because one’s focus is clearer! The feelings that one experiences when contemplating a heavy workload and procrastinating compared to the completed task, greeted with self gratification! Allow self to go through each process with open mind in order to receive a deeper understanding of every situation. Give self time to learn lessons being taught because life is overflowing with such to be accumulated so as to grow in stature and build solid chatacter. The saying goes everything that glitters is not gold. The experience through the lesson learned on the road reveals that though the sun glitters  showing wavy sun ripples as if a puddle is ahead, at focus clear it’s revealed that even the sun will set mirage. The focus must remain on the Son throughout the journey. Though the sun is quite helpful to light one’s path, and in spelling is but one letter short of the Messiah’s identity; the prize lies in an accomplished race with the athlete’s unwavering devotion, dedication, attention, and relation to God in Jesus!

YOU

When there’s no more heaven or hell

No more life or death, sea or sky

Sun or moon, sin or purification

Beings or birds, no more angels or devils

There will still be you

You have a strong effect

On all that’s around you, all that is you

All that we are is you

All merging to form the being…You

US

I’m the rain, you’re the rainbow

I’m the moon, you’re the sun

I’m the sea, you’re the waves

I’m the mermaid, you’re the whale

When I’m speaking you’re my thoughts

When I’m sleeping you’re my dreams

While I’m living you’re my hope

While I’m contemplating you’re my all

If I become a princess, you’ll be my prince in shining armor

If I become a queen, you’ll be my ruling king

If I become a star, you’ll be my shining light

If I become an angel you’ll be my flapping wings

SHADOW

My Shadow follows me everywhere

He’s there in the dark and light

In the day, it’s easy to see my Shadow

As the sunshines he finds me

At night, it’s quite a different sight

Often I fear he may be lost

But that’s not so, for when the

Smallest ray of light appear,

As does my Shadow near

My Shadow follows me in every way

He does as I do, looks as I do

We are inseparable, Shadow and I

Even in the deepest and softest silence

Shadow speaks ever so lively

He breathes life in all that seem lifeless

My Shadow is important to me

Because he’s mine alone

None other would dare to compare

Shadow and I, on a journey to win

Through thick and thin

We’re determined to win ’cause

We’re survivors, we don’t give up.

We simply put up, at times

We shut up to get up, higher up.

Shadow ticks and tocks around me

Like the hand on a clock.

But through all the phases we,

Shadow and I look the same

Without ever looking into a mirror.

I see my constant reflexion

In my SHADOW!

Life’s Garden

THE GARDEN MUST BEAR GOOD FRUIT THAT IS PLEASING TO THE MASTER’S TASTE!

If you want to possess a beautiful garden you must first and foremost be willing to get dirty! (Be willing to dig your hand in the dirt to tilt the soil, remove rocks and pebbles, uproot old dried up rotten roots to make room for new. Adding fertilizer here and there will keep the soil healthy, well nourished and ready for planting. Being careful enough to place seed deep under soil will also assure a deeply rooted plant a stronghold against bad weather. Beware as there are always thorns! Even in thornless plants a branch or twig might occasionally stick out, scratch a surface that could result as your skin or finger, or even fly up unintentionally reaching the eyes or face!  Hence it is necessary to wear appropriate clothing to protect self even in gardening. It’s mandatory to water most plants and feed them occasionally with sunshine to assure a healthy outlook)! Only then will you prove to be determined enough to reach the next level of actually buying supplies useful to build, nurture and uphold a healthy and productive garden that’s pleasing to your Master!
